Remember when NRA flacks were claiming that if other moviegoers had guns in the theater where the Aurora shooting took place, lives would be saved? This headline is the perfect rebuttal to that line of thinking:

He dropped his gun during a showing of The Bourne Legacy, it went off, and it shot him in the ass. He has a permit for that gun. I don’t feel any safer.

    That’s understandable. Trust the government for your protection, that’s always worked just fine in the past: just ask the dead people in Colorado. Thank god the cops showed up just in time, again, to stop a murderer as it was happening.
