Here’s what we now about the much-anticipated new album from Laura Gibson: It’s titled La Grande, will feature plenty of cameos (from members of Calexico, The Dodos, and more), City Slang will release the LP overseas, it’s American label has yet to be announced, and the entire album is a conceptual recording about “a fortune hunter whose disillusionment with Reagan-era American society leads him to join a shadowy plot to assassinate corrupt leaders.”

Oh wait, that last part was about Queensrÿche’s Operation: Mindcrime, I always get that band and Gibson confused. My bad. But while La Grande‘s domestic label and release date are still unknown, we do have this stream of the album’s title track to hold us over.
