I’m sorry, Name This Band-ers. The actual name of this band is so fitting—so whole-heartedly embracing of their 11-year-old-boy-fantasy miiieu, so firmly and cheerfully committed to the D&D metal aesthetic—that I am afraid you simply won’t be able to top it.

But! Let us not let that stop that from playing another round of Name This Band, in which you, dear Blogtown readers, come up with the cruelest, kindest, craziest, chuckle-worthiest band name you can think of, based solely on this publicity photo. As always with Name This Band (and with the game these dudes are so enthusiastically playing), there is no winner and no prize, except for that created by the power of your own i-magic-nation.

  1. Screw your contest! This is Gygax, created by bassist/vocalist Eric Harris from the remains of his most recent band Gypsyhawk, and they are awesome.
