Another week, another Mercury music section to ignore while you watch Michelle Obama do the Dougie. Whatever, Rutherford B. Hayes’ crunktastic wife Lucy Webb Hayes did it first.

We don’t need the Michael Jackson impersonator from the White Stripes to tell us about Wanda Jackson. Much like Elvis, we’ve been smitten on her rockabilly/gospel sounds for years. And she’s still touring! At 73!
