We should celebrate this victory for the environment, but remember when you trust any politician you are asking to be disappointed. The vote in June is one major step not what our lying mayor says today. The company seems to have something up their sleeve; makes me frown.

You'd think we were trying to export unrefined oil from fracking on Sauvie Island.
Sheesh...
You all are a bunch of hypocrites. Look at your own power usage. It comes from somewhere, and likely dirtier than propane.

This is great news for Portland and for the world, as we are all in this fighting climate change together. Seattle's mayor just blocked arctic oil drilling ships from docking in the Port of Seattle a few days ago, and Bank of America said it will be withdrawing invests from coal. A good week for the climate and future generations!

Meanwhile the Jordan Cove LNG export project down in Coos Bay stumbles along. Kate Brown is in the back room cutting deals, meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
