Oregon Gov. Kate Brown will be holding a press conference at 11 am Thursday on "new guidance for counties and businesses as part of her framework for safely reopening Oregon."

In recent days, the state has already started relaxing the ban on certain state parks, and according to early drafts obtained by the Oregonian, Brown's office has been developing plans that will lead to the eventual reopening of restaurants and bars and child care centers, as well as retail stores and malls. We may be hearing more about all those things in today's press conference. (So far there's been no word on when we can expect the return of music venues, sports, and performance spaces, but it almost certainly will not be in phase one of reopening.)
