  1. Wow, that took some crazy, stupid balls, Bartion.

    Barton’s also not legally correct – there is nothing against the law about voluntarily establishing a relief fund, even if it is under huge political/public pressure. No one forced them to do it, they just quickly grasped that it was in their best interest to do so.

  2. Thank you Joe Barton, for standing up for due-process for a multinational company who unquestionably devastated a large region of our country. You’re right, we should wait until BP has had a fair trial before we inconvenience them with a clean-up bill. And next time one of your buddies wants to block giving due-process to some illiterate kid we plucked out of the desert and threw in prison in Cuba, you just take the day off, you deserve it!
