Calling all political junkies! Let’s saddle up for what’s sure to be an exciting May primary election night—with important decisions being made (by YOU) regarding local circuit court judges, Metro Council seats, a controversial transportation measure, and who will be going head to head in November to claim seats in the senate and congress, as well as what will surely be a nail-biting governor’s race. 😬

Check out the latest updates on the races Portlanders care most about below, with new ballot drops scheduled to land at 8 pm, 10 pm, and midnight. BUT! An important thing to remember: Ballots that are mailed and postmarked by 8 pm tonight will still be counted, but it may take days for the final results to be tallied in certain races. However, we should have a pretty good idea where most races stand after the first ballot drop at 8 pm, and certain local races should be decided as soon as tomorrow. And if you get too sleepy to stay up, check back in with the Mercury‘s Good Morning, News tomorrow at 9 am for the latest, overnight results! LET’S DIVE IN!
