Now’s your chance to bid on Portland artist Sarah Levy’s original framed portrait of Donald Trump she painted with her own menstrual blood.
Last month, Levy created “Whatever” in response to Trump’s sexist comments following the first Republican presidential debate about Fox News’ Megyn Kelly bleeding out of her “wherever.”
Levy printed 11×17 posters of the original painting and has them for sale on Etsy. Yesterday, she put the original framed painting up for auction on ebay through Oct. 22. As of publishing this blog, 12 people have bid on the piece, bringing the total up to $431. Levy is donating proceeds from the auction to Portland Voz, a nonprofit supporting workers’ rights.
