It’s the weekend, so you should catch up this week’s feature, “Dating State of the Union” by our Bri Brey:

In an attempt to find out, I surveyed a wide variety of Portland friends, coworkers, comedians, and storytellers. These people represent a slice of the diverse sexualities and relationship statuses of our city. For all their differences, what they have in common is a sharp perspective on the assets and liabilities of dating in Portland.

For just $8 million, you can get a two-bedroom house in the middle of nowhere. The Oregonian has a slideshow and story of an intense Ashland house, developed by hand surgeon/”shaman” Scott Young (“Genesis”) and his wife Robin James (“Sulara”), currently up for sale.

The Boss cancelled his upcoming gig in Greensboro, N.C., because of the state’s ridiculous anti-gay and anti-transgender rights law. Read Bruce Springsteen‘s full statement here:
