We’ve got an official number from the police: There were 51 arrests at Occupy Portland on Sunday as Portland Police pushed the protests from the park and fenced them in. Average age of people arrested is 28, with the oldest being 81-year-old and the youngest age 16.
This is what democracy looks like this morning at Chapman Park:

If you missed all the action Saturday night, videographer Erik Schultz made this dreamy video for us. It sums up 12 hours of protests in a concise and beautiful 11 minutes. Watch and share!

Well, I wonder how all those donations to fix the parks are stacking up, after such assurances by occupy that they will repair the damages they did?
Shouldn’t democracy look more like people voting, and less like a riot?
LOL @ all those naive white libtards
Reymont, how’s that voting thing working out? Has it ended Wall Street bailouts, or prevented the housing bubble crisis?
I’m also curious why you think this looks like a riot? It looks to me like it felt on the street that morning: joyful people dancing, and doing no harm.
