They take over a public park they didn’t pay for, to go nearby to use bathrooms they didn’t pay for, to beg for food from places they don’t want to pay for, to obstruct those who are going to work to pay the taxes to sustain the bathrooms and to sustain the park, so they can self-righteously explain they are the paragons of virtue to which we owe everything. That is a pretty good symptom of how much the left has collapsed as a moral system in this country, and why you need to reassert something by saying to them, ‘Go get a job right after you take a bath.’

Wow. This is the first time
that I agreed with Newt Gingrich.
This from the guy who pushed to essentially dismantle the welfare system, making people out of work far more vulnerable and likely to slip through the cracks. So of course, like every festering asshole, he says in response to charges of a wide range of economic injustices, “get a job.” Never mind the shortage of almost 40 million jobs; everyone should just “get” one.
I AGREE WITH NEWT. IT’D BE GREAT IF ALL THE PEOPLE WHO’RE OUT OF WORK COULD GO GET JOBS. IT’D BE GREAT IF ALL THE HOMELESS PEOPLE HAD ACCESS TO BASIC AMENITIES LIKE SHOWERS AND LAUNDRY.
SO NEWT, HOW ARE YOU AS PRESIDENT GOING TO HELP THESE PEOPLE DO THOSE THINGS?
