Okay, I’m going to show you something. And this thing I’m going to show you will probably generate a… umm… strong reaction. What will this reaction be? It’s hard to say. Perhaps it will be laughter. Perhaps it will be groans of dissatisfaction. And perhaps it will an uncontrollable rage that builds up deep within your soul and explodes out of you like a volcano, putting the lives of everyone around you in jeopardy. I’m kind of thinking it might be the latter. Nevertheless, I’m going to show it to you, while offering the reminder that YOU and only YOU are responsible for your actions. So if you’re the type of person who sometimes loses their shit about clowns and goes on a blackout rampage—then maybe you might want to take a Valium or something first. Okay? Okay.
Ladies and gentlemen, “Who Let the Clowns Out?”

Thanks (I guess) to Videogum.

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

  1. My reaction is a perfect blend of horror at the presence of clowns and disappointment at the shoddy production values.
I have to go wash my eyes now.
