The second installment of Project Pabst has come and gone, and my heat stroke recovery lingers on. Here are some general thoughts from last weekend, which saw crowds brave 99-degree temperatures to see bands like Blondie, Weezer, and TV on the Radio:

• WHY IS IT SO HOT?
• Debbie Harry is still a babe.
• Against Me! is definitely more punk than you.
• Jesus I feel like I’m crossing the Sahara right now.
• TV on the Radio.
• Seriously, it’s hot.
• Weezer is making me really happy.
• I’m almost feeling tipsy. Wait, maybe that’s just the heatstroke.
• Ted Leo, I love you. Marry me. Uh, I really mean to say the breakdown in “Little Dawn” pulls me back from the hard places all the time. Thank you for that.
