Great. Now I want to play Missile Command.
This chart is proof: Rich people have big balls.
THIS IS SO MESSED UP
Eat the rich! they are the same shape as pie
Not shocking at all. Yet most people don’t seem to give a shit.
No. Not “Nerd Alert.”
“Wonk Threat: Elevated.”
COME ON I KNOW YOU’RE NEW BUT SERIOUSLY.
Ok! It took me ALL DAY to figure out what I didn’t like about this chart. Now it’s way too late, I know, but here you go:
It obviously triggers an emotional response, right? Just look at that big circle for rich people! Boo! Like the lady said above “THIS IS SO WRONG.”
But you CAN’T make any decisions with only this information. First, you have to figure out *how you feel about the current tax levels.*
If you think that every income level is paying a perfectly fair share of tax right now, then sure, these bubbles should piss you off.
But if you thought that the rich are being unfairly taxed right now, then this might represent the perfect amount of reform!
Personally, all I really know about current tax levels is that the rich pay a LOT more tax than the poor, so….I’d at least need a chart showing the current levels to pull any valid emotions out of this. How about a before- and after- chart?
Make any sense, guys? Don’t be emotionally manipulated by chart makers!
