  1. “We tend to overlook this fact because, frankly, it spoils the mood. The presumption of guilt makes it
easier to justify laughing at 23-going-on-zombie crack whores and bugeyed misfits sporting felony-caliber mullets. They deserve the derision they getโ€”theyโ€™re criminals! But the joke is really on us. As law enforcement agencies expand their powers of surveillance, as they encourage us to think of punishment without due process as standard operating procedure, we not only tolerate it, we click and click and ask for more. If Americaโ€™s citizenry were more uniformly presentable, and its mug shots correspondingly less entertaining, we might protest these developments more strongly. Instead, we simply laugh at the latest person guilty of wearing a cow costume while being arrested, then pass along the link to our friends.”

  2. this is messed up! most of these people werent charged and some of them just got into fights or were at the wrong place at the wrong time. you need to let people be aware of serious crimes or people charged with a crime, get your facts straight before you embarrass someone being drunk and stupid or defending themselves! you dont know til it happens to you!

  3. Hey “truthseeker2”-

It’s PUBLIC information…in fact you can look at mug shots all day long on the MCSO website. Duh!

  4. My daughters mother falsely accused me of spanking my nine year old daughter on saturday and I was arrested that same day and “charged” with “Criminal Mistreatment1” which sounds like torture 1 to me. My daughters mother (who we will call Rachael) despises me for the fact that I have had legal custody of our daughter for almost four years now after DHS found cocaine in her and her sons system after giving birth to her son approximately four years ago. Rachael vendictivally fabricated this lie against me so that she can have control and not have to pay me child support. I have contacted Busted Paper and asked that my mug shot not be included in this Fridays lasted “line up” as it would greatly disrupt my career.I am still awaiting their response. I plead not guilty and will be fighting for my daughter and to clear my good name in the court of law. I am a great father, well respected in the community, a business owner, a Security Officer and an aspiring Law Enforcement officer.
I was “Charged” Not “Busted” or convicted. Therefor the name of the paper should be “Charged” instead of Busted. I have not had my due process in the court of law and may file a law suit against The Portland Police Bureau for a false arrest, Multnomah County for Keeping my daughter and I apart and Busted Paper for defemation of character. Please share any thoughts that you may have on this matter. Thanks, “The best dad ever” (according to my daughter) ‘~’
