Maybe it’s the sun, but I just wanted to post a little note of gratitude and thanks to all the folks who come upon this little Blogtown of ours. Here’s wishing you all a bright warm spring and summer season full of good friends, good food, and good times.
I hope you all take advantage of that big ball in the sky as it melts the chill from your bones this weekend. Tell us what you’re getting into in the comments below. I swear we won’t come and crash your party—unless you want us to.

yea it’s nice and sunny out, but i wouldn’t go so far as to call it warm.

Starts go into straw bales today. Second wave ready in case it gets cold again.
It’s supposed to get a bit warmer, though. It might get from “opening the curtains” weather to “finally let in some fresh air” weather… Either way, my plan is to be as unproductive as possible while still finishing my taxes sometime this weekend.
just back in from soaking up sun (and buying booze) and now its nearly time for tourney.
God, you’re such a sap, Patrick. ; D
Thanks PAC, just had some brunch. Thinking about taking a nap or going to the park or something. Going to go see Beau later today.
I want a margarita please.
It is nice and sunny outside, so I’m posting on blogtown. Yay!
Took one of my kids to the park, where some 6 year-old spent the morning bragging to my son how high he could kick the ball. I took the ball and launched it ~80 feet in the air. Amazing what shuts up a kid.
We couldn’t find an open port-a-potty so we both used the bushes next to a girl’s soccer game. Amazing what shuts up soccer moms.
Went up on my hammock and tried to take the first nap of spring. Since I left it out all winter, the ropes were weak and I flipped over and smacked the ground. Amazing what shuts me up.
I had to spend all day moving. And some dudes shot their guns outside my old house right as I drove away with my first truck load.
I miss u blogtown! See you tomorrow.
I went to Lush and ate lunch at Ken’s. Yesss!
The first warm weekend of the year makes every Portlander so happy and friendly. It’s pretty much the nicest each person will be all year. I love it.
We’re at the beach house in Cannon Beach for the weekend and loving the warm sand, cold Bill’s Red Ales, and fresh crab cakes. She’s watching “Shakespeare in Love” near the fire and I’m relaxing as I do every Sunday: working on the weekend NYT crossword. Can’t wait for summer to return again – these little tastes of it make the rainy months just a bit more bearable!
Seasonal Depression can eat a dick for a lil while!
