Heckling is a god-giving right gifted upon each and every loudmouthed sports fan, but you really have to give it up for Miles Rawls, who heckled President Obama at a Chicago Bulls (Obama’s team) vs. Washington Wizards (Rawls’ team) game earlier this week.

The Washington Post has an excellent piece on Rawls, his noteworthy history, and his favorite line directed at Obama (whose Bulls lost) during the end of the game: “Warm up the limo.”

Of course, Obama was a good sport, but I get the feeling if you ever heckled Dick Cheney you’d probably end up in rendition somewhere. Or worse.

Ezra Ace Caraeff is the former Music Editor for the Mercury, and spent nearly a third of his life working at the paper. More importantly, he is the owner of Olive, the Mercury’s unofficial office dog....

  1. Hah. I saw the pics of this but didn’t realize it was a guy heckling Obama. Well in, Mr. Rawls. Oh and for the record, fuck both the bulls and wizards.
