If you aren’t already watching USA take on Algeria right now, you should. The safe move for them would be to simply beat the Algerians and they move on to the knock out rounds. If they lose, they’re out. If they tie, then they have to wait to see what happens with England and Slovenia and that gets all kinds of crazy. Can’t watch video at work? ESPN and The Guardian both have good web-based gamecasts.

Also. Last night the Portland Timbers throttled the Kitsap Pumas 4-1 which means they move on to the third round of the U.S. Open Cup. Oh, and that means they play some team from Seattle next week on June 30 at 7:30 p.m.
