Who has two thumbs and an expiring contract? This guy!

Last night the NBA trade session stopped being nice and started being real (real shitty if you are a New Jersey Nets fan). Now that Carmelo Anthony is playing for Isiah Thomas’ New York Knickerbockers, the rest of the league is finally free to trade players and make moves.

This includes the Portland Trail Blazers. According to Marc Spears at Yahoo Sports, Andre Miller and Marcus Camby will be filling out change of address cards by this weekend. Well, maybe not Camby, since the veteran center hinted that he’d rather retire than leave Portland. No one is quite sure where Camby and Miller will end up—the rumors still involve Charlotte (for Gerald Wallace and some other pieces), New Jersey (for Devin Harris and maybe an expiring contract), or to the Harlem Globetrotters (for Curly Neal and a bucket of confetti).

As always, we’ll keep you updated.

  1. Man, Knicks gave up fan favorites to get melo. The resurfacing of Isiah Thomas’ name has made me feel like my renewed Knicks fandom has been a huge lie.

  2. I’m not reading any of these posts. I just want to know the results after the deadline’s passed.

All these rumors and maybes… I can’t handle it.
