Blazers fans, see that photo? It pretty much sums up everything.
The team looked flat, Oden looked terrible (and wounded, the unofficial word is a “mid-foot sprain”), and no matter how bright this team’s future is, they are a long way from being as good as the Lakers. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow.
(Unless Oden gets hit by a car tomorrow, which I wouldn’t rule out right now.)

they should change Oden’s jersey to #31. serious.
That giant whooshing sound… the air being sucked out of all the preseason expectations in one game, as soon as tipoff happened.
man they stunk last night. it’s GOT to get better than that. right?
I’m thankful I’m not a Blazer fan. I don’t think I could handle the media scrutiny over Greg Oden, the bloated expectations, or the failure that was last nights game.
As a Laker fan, I’m not ready for another season yet. After the last finals I think I need a year off. Maybe I’ll pick a name out of a hat and root for a random team.
Heat or the Grizzlies, your choice.
