Also, the team is having a Pep Rally at Pioneer Courthouse Square scheduled from 12-3 pm today. There will be players, coaches, and enough pep to kill a horse.

  1. So much for the “no camping” thing. I went very early this morning to get tickets only to find the place looking like a fucking Hooverville. There was no way I was going to get a ticket. I came home dejected and cursed your name for telling me to “put the tent away.”

  2. God I have never wished for mascot injury like I did last night during the giant slingshot/rollerblades thing. And I like Blaze, as mascots go.

It sucks that we got shafted by the rule book, vis-a-vis playoff seeding, but I’m sanguine about our chances vs Houston. The Blazers are playing very well right now, and also fuck Yao. I’m predicting a Ron Artest meltdown in game 2.

  3. Time to lay our cards on the table and see if we’re ready. I think we are.

I wasn’t even going to bother trying to get tickets. 1000 tickets available? Who gets the rest? Are there really that many season ticket holders?

  4. Sorry Patrick, that is what I was told. Besides, 1000 available tickets would only mean 250 Hooverville residents (since it’s 4 tickets per person) get in. You’d have to be camping since yesterday afternoon.

  5. Dang, I wish they were all on Kgdub. But this is the big payoff, so I’ll definitely be going out to watch them.

that would be cool if you did a post on the best places to watch the games if you can’t make it to one. Any places that are having deals, like the tax day deals? go journalize that stuff, plz.
