Calling all “what the fuckers!” After nearly a year of waiting around with no info, comedian/podcaster Marc Maron’s new WTF-inspired sitcom on IFC finally has a debut date. From AV Club:

Maron will debut on May 3, telling the only slightly fictionalized tale of a comic named Marc Maron who runs a podcast out of his garage, while the show will have a similarly reality-blurring mix of guest stars playing characters and themselves.

Expect guest shots from Mark Duplass, Aubrey Plaza, Denis Leary, Adam Scott, Illeana Douglas, Bobcat Goldthwait, Danny Trejo and more!

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

  1. Duh. It’s the natural next step in our culture when an originally-worthwhile concept threatens to run out of gas before a sufficient amount of profit is wrung from it.
