You heard right—our own Dan Savage (who actually visits Portland more than any other Seattle person I know) is on tonight’s new episode of Portlandia (IFC, 10 pm), which also guest stars Kyle MacLachlan and Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age. Obviously this puts me in an awkward predicament since Dan’s one of my oldest, dearest friends while Portlandia is… uuuuummmm…. aaaaaahhhh…. not. And yet, you can bet your sweet booty I’ll be watching this one!*

*I just hope the rest of the sketches are better than this. 🙁

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)
