I know, it’s sunny outside… or you COULD stay inside and watch a ’90s anime about a team of teenaged schoolgirl sailor/warriors who battle evil throughout the universe. I’ve watched the first four minutes of the first episode and I don’t remember Sailor Moon having such a hot mom. I also, in retrospect, have no idea how this show became a cultural touchstone for me in high school—maybe the presence of a talking cat had something to do with it? Either way, I remember having strong feelings about the merits of Sailor Jupiter.
