I just want to say that if you are on a crowded train or bus, where people are standing in the aisles, and you are sitting on the aisle blocking an open window seat, you are a raging ASSHOLE! That is all.

Raging asshole? For sitting down? If you had any social skills you would have just asked him to move so you could sit down.
Point to the empty seat and say “May I please sit down?” They will move into the empty seat, and you will get the aisle seat.
