Yesterday Pickathon announced the addition of three new acts to this year's festival, which takes place at Pendarvis Farm on August 2-4: San Francisco font of garage rock Ty Segall will be there, perhaps in an altogether new guise (he'll have released three new albums by the time Pickathon weekend rolls around, no doubt). Long-lost gospel-funk ensemble the Relatives will perform (read our recent article on the Relatives' revival here). And up-and-coming rennaissance-fayre folker Jessica Pratt has also been added. These three join the already stacked bill, which features the likes of Feist, Andrew Bird, Divine Fits, Kurt Vile, Sharon Van Etten, Shabazz Palaces, and lots more.

Also—KEXP premiered the first episode of Pickathon TV, a compilation of the hours of footage shot from last year's festival, including performances on and off the stage and all other kinds of goings-on. It's a great look at the festival for the uninitiated; and a great-looking and -sounding scrapbook for those who've been. Pickathon coordinator Zale Schoenborn says it "requires good speakers and a beer!" This episode includes performances by Heartless Bastards, Y la Bamba, Blitzen Trapper, Lake Street Dive, Thee Oh Sees, and Los Cojolites. It's great; take a look after the jump, and start getting ready for summer.
