Restaurant Details

One of the most consistently lauded restaurants in town, Bluehour caters primarily to the "well heeled" condo dwellers but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be considered for those special occasions or dates. And eating there doesn't necessarily mean you have to clean out your bank account. Stop in for a tasty cheesy panini sandwich or a meat and cheese plate, plus a cocktail, and drop around $15 or $20. If you do find that sugar daddy you've been looking for however, go ahead splurge on the bacon-wrapped scallops, the lamb, and an expensive bottle of wine. Bluehour is every bit as good as the hype.

This is our top choice for big blowout celebration meals. But you can sneak a taste of what they have to offer by snagging one of the great outdoor tables after work in the warmer months. Get a nice cocktail, nibble on a few appetizers, and leave with a wallet that's lighter—but not empty. Veggies, though, beware—ask what's in what you're ordering. I once ordered the crostini three ways, and two of the three came with meat or seafood on top, which was a surprise.

If I were Carrie from Sex and the City, this is where I'd meet with Big for our secret redezvous. It's got big sexy curtains separating the bar from the dining room, and sumptuous food and drinks. Sure, it's kinda "pearl" in its affectations, but when you need top-notch food for a special date or occasion, this will fit the bill nicely! Plus, their brunch is heavenly!

I've only been there twice, but it's worth calling it a special occasion venue. Went for coctails/apps once, and then did New Year's Eve dinner with dad a few years ago and it was just the right setting, and the food and service were worth the bill at the end.

I've only been there twice, but both times, the service and food were fantastic! The drinks are amazing (bullseye is awesome - very smooth vodka with amarino cherry)and the cheese plate is wonderful - you get a choice of cheeses - along with wonderful assistance from their fromager - beef carpaccio is awesome. I'd go there again and again!
