In operation for over a century now, Kelly's is a true Portland icon. With hanging vintage motorcycles and myriad colorful neon signs, it's a favorite of bikers (ample motorcycle parking out front), students, and office workers alike. Live music ranges from DJs to local bands and the kitchen dishes up some remarkable bar food including all-day breakfast.

Drink here. Eat here. Just don't expect some of the vermon swept in here to be hep to your own perceptions of personal space or "fun". It's not uncommon to feel like it's the bar for people that haven't done a whole hell of a lot of maturing since primary school.
I don't agree with the last review. This is a place to relax and unload with friends after work, not a bunch "vermon". This reviewer before me has obviously not visited Chinatown. Kelly's is a fine place, the only complaint I have is the smoke, but then why do I have to b**ch. I chose to be in a bar. This is a decent hangout to watch movies at the bar and to catch up with friends.
The remodel has been amazing subtle but very nice upgrade! i like the new concert hall and notice there's more dancing and I heard a burlesque show is coming too! Love the variety. Location, can't be beat.
I love this bar. The bartenders have to be some of the coolest, friendliest,in town.Perfet place to relax after work. The happy hour menu is decent. I recommend the chicken sliders and french fries.Wherever I am in downtown, I will wind up at Kelly's eventually.
