North Lombard can be know for long stretches of nothing but there are oases here and there and this awesome little bike-themed café is a shining example of that. Besides the usual coffee/espresso drinks, Little Red Bike offers a small but drool-inducing menu of breakfasty goodies, and lunchable treats complete with "sandwiches w/ training wheels for the tykes. They'll substitute vegetarian menu items and soy milk at no extra charge! -something a lot of other places should take heed of. To top it all off, they make and serve homemade ice cream and will even serve it out of the Bike Up window after they close at 3 .

This is just what North Lom-tard needed! A perfect cafe with Courier coffee and well-wrought breakfast & lunch sandwiches. The couple behind this little jewel couldn't be sweeter - go have a cup and a sammy and give a hearty welcome to Ali & Evan.

I officially have a place to stop anytime I'm roaming Lombard looking for food that is neither chicken fried or beer battered. The breakfast sandwich I tried this morning was flawless sans I could have used another. Ali and Evan are incredibly sweet and it's obvious they love what they do. All I can say is mmmmmm.

it used to be that you couldn't get a decent cup of coffee on lombard without going all the way to st. johns. but, no more! i had a perfect americano and the zoobomb breakfast sandwich tasted exactly as i hoped it would when i read the menu description. delicious.

Do yourself a favor, go over to the coffee shop in the New Columbia to get away from young annoying hipster types and overpriced mediocre crap.

I have been to Little Red Bike twice and the lunch sandwiches have been great. I've had the Turkey and the Tempeh and both are tasted great and were totally affordable. And the coffee (with a 50 cent discount cause I bike!) definately one of the best lattes I've had in NoPo. Thanks so much for opening up in my neighborhood!
