Slabtown is a charmingly grungy bar and music venue that has seen more rock 'n' roll, played more pinball, and honored more drunks than seems humanly possible. But beneath that grizzled exterior is a big softhearted sweetie, with regular poetry slam nights, all-ages shows, an extensive falafel menu, and a large midway-esque game room beyond the stage. It's a place to drink among your people in an oasis from the Pearl District, while maybe watching an impromptu shopping-cart race under the freeway across the street. COURTNEY FERGUSON

Restaurant Details

One of very few live music venues in the Northwest Portland area. Comfortable, lounge-y, and cool, serving a small but varied menu from fish 'n' chips to pizza. live music plays most nights. OR you can make your own party by renting out their back room. Way cool.
