Yesterday, Swedish electronic music outfit Little Dragon announced a North American/European tour that’ll kick off in 2020. Following shows in Seattle (May 4) and Vancouver (May 5), the four-piece will make a stop in Portland on May 6 at the Roseland Theater; tickets go on sale this Friday, October 25.
The four-piece also just released a groovy new pop single about something everyone loves doing—”Tongue Kissing”—and it’s just as complex, sultry, and clean as any good tongue kiss should be.
“The song is very much about taking brave steps,” the band explains in a news release. “Facing your own demons and tongue kissing with life in a way, not holding back but going all in with all that it entails, every moment in your face.”
The Grammy-nominated band’s use of percussion, flute, light-and-soulful vocals from frontwoman Yukimi Nagano, and a funky bass line make the shimmering single extra approachable (and repeatable).
