When times are tough, write about them. Or at least that's what the liberals are doing as they fill up bookstores across the country with these soon-to-be released Bush-bashing books.

Don't Think of an Elephant by George Lakoff (2004)--Sure, they control the government, but the English language too? For all you liberals looking at Red States asking, "How could they be so stupid?" a little schooling goes a long way. Berkeley professor and one of the world's best-known linguists, George Lakoff gives a crash course on the language games Republicans play all the way to the White House.

America (The Nightmare) by Sam Seder and Stephen Sherrill (2005)--With all the satires on the shelf today, now the satirists are getting satirized. Seder and Sherrill, comedians at Air America Radio, offer a look at our nation under George W. Bush. This Jon Stewart spin-off promises to be a creepy, disturbing, demented, evil twin version of Stewart's coffee table blockbuster.

New Rules by Bill Maher (2005)--Maher claims he can make society better. This book of wisdom, based on his HBO series Real Time, changes the rules by which we function. If it's anything like his show, Maher will recommend Democrats attack Finland to win over "Red States" and suggest they put a fetus next to Reagan's picture on the dollar bill.
