Local food writer and freelance journalist Nancy Rommelmann has made a pledge to take off her clothes for charity. In a blog post yesterday, Rommelmann promised to remove an item of clothing for every $50 donated to the Oregon Food Bank as part of the Blog for Food benefit.

Blog for Food allows blog readers to click a link on participating blogs and donate money electronically to the Oregon Food Bank. Rommelmann, however, has upped the stakes by offering a strip tease.
Yes folks, I am going to strip for food. For every $50 raised, I take off another item. Conversely, since I am over 40, perhaps you’ll pay for me to keep my clothes on. You may specify which in the comments section and, in fact, my husband is threatening to match donations dollar-for-dollar to keep me dressed.
Rommelmann is being self-deprecating here. Why just this morning a good friend described her as FWILF (figure it out). She has that sexy older female columnist vibe, like Susan Orlean or Carrie Bradshaw. But there are those out there with a sense of shame who might actually bid to keep Rommelmann clothed.
Over the years I’ve probably spent several hundred dollars in Portland’s many strip-clubs, but the money’s never been for a good cause. If I can spend $50 to get Rommelmann’s sweater off and help feed the states hungry population… Well that’s what I’d call a win/win. Plus, I can only hope she’d do the same for me.
So go help her out, satisfy your curiosity, and do something for a good cause… You perv.

I drink your stretch marks. I drink them up!
Oh, wow. Thank gog she’s hot. I was worried there for a moment.
You don’t think money spent at strip clubs goes to a good cause? What?
Why doesn’t she sell her clothes and donate proceeds to food bank?
Shoot, I’d pay $250 to go down on her and why doesn’t she auction off her used panties, too?
I’ll pay her to keep her clothes on.
