Man, that Publishing Software from YUDU piece was spot-on! What a perfect parody! If I hadn’t known any better, I would have sworn it was a genuine Digital Publishing library and marketplace that lets you read, publish, buy, sell and share digital content. “Quite simply, it’s a place for you… where YUDUfree it all.”! Brilliant.
I was really hoping it would be the Sandy Post-Apocalypse or the Gresham Shamwow. Maybe next year.
If you actually ventured out east to Troutdale, the biggest impression should have been the wind – it almost never stops. The ‘Troutdale Trout’ would have much more amusing if you had worked a wind angle into the articles and ads.
