Sorry this isn’t some super smart post detailing my perceived grievances with this seemingly unnecessary and stupid video hosting service. I’m way past any point of caring enough to put much more thought into this. The stupidity of our country is honestly just depressing after awhile. It’s such a tired saying, “If you don’t like it, leave” or whatever variation you prefer. But now it doesn’t sound like such a bad idea. Tik Tok may be everywhere, but the stupidity our culture pours into it isn’t.
I Will Never Join Tik-Tok

“I’m way past any point of caring enough to put much more thought into this.”
Yet you came here to let everyone with internet access know. You seem to actually care a lot. When we don’t care about something, we usually move on and don’t think about something again. You’re singing it from the roof tops.
“It’s such a tired saying, “If you don’t like it, leave” or whatever variation you prefer”
Is it? So you’re saying if you don’t like something, you need to stay with it? That makes less sense. I think you’re issue with this statement is that you don’t like something, but you also don’t want to leave it, as evidenced by your entire message. You’re not able to walk away from it for some reason and want everyone to know that you’d like to.
When you really understand what it means to leave something, you’ll finally understand the advice you find tired and cliched. Until then, I urge you to keep investigating why you have this toxic relationship with Tik Tok, and why you can’t just walk away from it.
