You ignored the fact that I’d pulled my dog over to the side of the walkway, blocking him from your dog.I pulled his leash in to keep him still, did every fucking thing to indicate that I wanted to keep my dog away from yours.You never quit talking on the phone for a second.You couldn’t be bothered to check with me, look up, ask if the dogs could meet.Even if you had, and even if I’d said yes, you would have needed to hang up your goddamn phone to have control of your animal while they met.Instead, you allowed your big dumb clumsy puppy to bound up, rudely shove his dumb puppy face into my dogs face.Dogs don’t meet like that.Your dog is as dumb as you.My dog growled and snapped, your dumb baby dog cried, and somehow you wrapped the leash around your balls trying to pull your dog away.Then you got all whiney because I hadn’t told you my dog “bites.”My dog didn’t bite.He just scared your puppy.Train that dog.Hang up your phone so your balls won’t get hung up on your leash.

If your damned dog is prone to snapping at other dogs, you need to muzzle it on walks. You are never going to be able to keep it away from other dogs or children 100% of the time. Simple as that.
All dog owners should be in control of their dogs. it is rude to have a dog aggressive dog in public, true. it is also rude to allow your dog to run up on and interact with another leashed animal without asking the owner if that is ok. I see it all the time at Petsmart for example, dogs on retractable leashes aisles away from their owner bouncing all over people and their dogs. If a dog doesnt want to be bounced all over, they will growl, bark and snap. A dog may be arthritic and painful or just grumpy and cannot say to the owner ” pardon me sir or madam but your little puppy is jumping all over my face, i am not feeling well or i would rather him not jump all over my face, so could you pretty please with sugar and cherries a top shorten your leash and control your dog?”
