I have to use a work device that is shared with other coworkers. And damn, what’s on some of the screens is a little enlightening. I always knew it but it’s just more confirmation. It’s not about germ phobia either. The greasy, cloudy, smeared smudge marks make me think what have you been doing with those fingers and hands? Have you washed your hands at all? Were you picking your nose or crotch? Were you scratching your pits or your sweaty head after eating ribs, chicken tenders, or popcorn?
So just imagine the hundreds and thousands of fingers and hands that meet unintentionally and unknowingly everyday of common area surfaces like door handles, windows, basically anything you can touch, I can touch. Then you don’t wash your hands after touching something then stick your finger up your nose or lick your fingers after that fried chicken. Yum. Remember pandemic and covid, and all the sanitizing we went through?
