Just viewed a home in our neighborhood that sold for 80k over the Zestimate list! OMG! The schools are shit, but they keep coming! I’ll be the first to welcome you into the neighborhood. I figure anyone who’s willing to fork out 80k over the asking price in PDX knows what we (transplants) have been preaching. I’m looking forward to the schools improving and the High School drop out rate reducing. I’m guessing my new neighbor cares about the same and willing to make improvements to their new home. Anyone who drops that amount of cash on a down payment won’t dress the windows with sheet curtains or leave trash in the yard (not art, real trash, like food containers, etc.). I’m also guessing they don’t own 4 untrained Pit Bulls…. keeping my fingers crossed….More high bids please! If the neighborhood won’t improve. Letting the beautiful 1920’s home deteriorate over time. Buy ’em out!

  1. I’m guessing your new neighbor is cooking meth in that house as I type. Only a crook pays over the asking price. The seller and his broker then don’t ask any questions. I’ll bet you’ve already got a for sale sign on your lawn even though you love this area so much.

  2. I’m wishing tragic events to befall you that leave you penniless and homeless staring at the food stamp office while they tell you your an Able bodied citizen who should be working and will only receive a few months worth of help while you peruse Zillow to look for someplace to rent and realize on your new budget you’ll have to move to Albany to afford any place. But hey at least the schools there are good. Right?

Send your address so I can pass out crack to your school and throw my trash in your yard.
