Sometimes I step outside of myself when I’m at home and stoned, and have some keen revelations. I haven’t had a roommate in a looong time. Most roommates I’ve had, we ended up not getting along. I lived with a partner once which went sour, in fact seemed like it rotted before we even gave our living situation a shot. Needless to say, I lived alone for a looong time, and don’t have company over anymore, which is fine. So in these revelations, I realize there are different and very compartmentalized aspects to my personality. There’s work me that is positive, supportive, encouraging, hardworking, and a good team member. There’s the going from home to work me, the street me, that is very anxious, guarded, and just wants to get from A to B without complications or distractions. I’m unfriendly, unkind, and an asshole really. I don’t wanna talk to anyone. I just wanna keep to myself. I think everyone is dumb and stupid. I’m always saying to myself, what the fuck are you looking at. This is true. What the fuck are you looking at. Then there’s the happy go lucky, easy going, fun loving and good timing me at the bar me. The home me is very isolated by choice but not entirely lonely. I have many projects going on, keep busy, and usually end up smoking the MJ, eating, and sleeping. Alone and stoned, I have nothing to be but my true self, but that can be rather eye opening because I truly do whatever it is with absolutely no one watching or knowing. I must say I’m quite a goofball mystery with thoughts in my head, and talking to myself in my own language. I had my friend for the end of the world, but I messed that up, and I miss her. I also read this thing about the benefits of quiting drinking alcohol. One person said, when they quit drinking, they realized they don’t like anything or anyone.—Anonymous
