For those of you who have never worked in an Oregon restaurant, let me tell you just how easy it is to get your food handler’s card: You take the test online, unsupervised, with nothing preventing you from referencing the manual for ever question. I know because I’ve done it myself, twice.
I mention this because I have certain friends who will offer to make you dinner, but then handle the food so unsafely that I’m left wondering if I can politely decide to go hungry after coming over for dinner. Contrary to traditional Portland passive aggression, I have tried mentioning the problematic handling, but the response is always, “Um, yeah, I have a food handler’s card. This is actually my job.”
I know you get paid for it, but I just watched you cut raw pork on a wooden cutting board (not good), then use the same cutting board to cut salad vegetables (cross contamination), then leave the wooden cutting board soaking in filthy dishwater overnight (at which point you should throw that shit away).
If you don’t know that
A. Wooden cutting boards are for bread and dryish foods but never raw meat
B. You don’t cut foods to be eaten raw on the same surface that you just contaminated with raw meat
C. You don’t soak wooden utensils because they’re porous
then you should not be cooking for anybody!
As for YOU state of Oregon, this shit is GROSS! OLCC has their testing on lock. I’m not even confident that the people making my food know to wash their hands after they shit.

STFU and GTFO you pussy beyotch.
Compatible with traditional Portland aggressive passiveness, you ate the food, dincha?

You’re regurgitating one of the oldest myths in the book. Wooden cutting boards are completely fine for cutting raw meat and there are plenty of studies to back it up. Please use the search engine of your choice to educate yourself before trying to shame others.
^ Way to take a stand on the important issues.
Looking forward to your take on the Whole Foods Soup rant that was just posted. Should be riveting.
I bet you don’t like to touch penises.
