Hopefully we’ll get the transcripts next week, and pore through them for any new information. From the District Attorney:
Early this afternoon the Multnomah County Grand Jury declined to return any criminal charges in the death of Jack Dale Collins. The Grand Jury heard from 28 witnesses over the course of two days. The District Attorney’s Office obtained a court order to record the testimony of all witnesses. A motion to publicly disclose the testimony will be docketed with the Presiding Court in Room 208 of the Multnomah County Courthouse, Wednesday April 7 at 9 am. The motion will either be decided by the court at that time or assigned by the court for a hearing at a later date.

A fair decision, in my opinion.
This is Jack’s lack of surprise.
It was a good kill. Job well done by the PPB! (even though Matt thinks they should be rainbow cops with magical unicorn powers!)
I hope someone remembers to reset the sign in the police breakroom to “0 days since police have murdered a citizen”.
@kiojn OMG that should be an iPhone app RIGHT NOW.
I’d download that!
