I’m just reading through Ian Karmel’s cover story this week about Voodoo Donuts and strip clubs and, oh man, it’s funny. Here’s my favorite line, which sums up how I feel about strip clubs, too:

Getting drunk near vaginas is okay, I guess. It’s a little weird that it’s illegal to have alcohol and vaginas together in other parts of the country… is the cocktail of vaginas and booze too much for hard-working Midwestern penises? Wouldn’t booze make the penis less functional, reducing the risk of whatever state governments are afraid might happen?

HA! Read the whole thing here.

One reply on “This is Exactly How I Feel About Strip Clubs, Too.”

  1. Laws like that are sometimes used as tools to control or add punishment to things that are more nefarious. For example, I recall a case from my high school days in Omaha where several underground strip clubs were busted – they had girls as young as thirteen dancing, in front of drinking men. Anything that added a few years on the sentences of the responsible parties is a good thing.
