…make it this one. The Oregonian‘s Jason Quick has just posted his second “Behind the Locker Room Door” (don’t let the title fool you, it’s far less erotic than your steamy Bernie Bickerstaff fan fiction) column which examines a few overlooked details of the team. Quick has unparalleled access to the Blazers and his piece on Miller—the most fascinating, and misunderstood, player on the team—is definitely worth your time.
I think the fans of Miller feel a little smarter than the average fan. There’s an empowering sense with Miller fans that they get it. They understand basketball. They understand humility. And because of that, they hold on to him a little tighter.
Plus, later on in the column Quick calls a few NBA coaches “self-important jackasses.” Burn!

Dre not a fan of the T-shirt cannon? BOOO!
Nice article. I have a wish, though.
The Oregonian should consider something.
Stop throwing in a million line buffers.
What is this the origin of this journalistic tactic?
Do they worry readers can’t handle more than one sentence at a time without being overwhelmed?
Oh wait.
I think I just answered my own question.
My bad.
Touche, TSW. I did like that article, though. Our loss last night was certainly *not* because of Miller, he always shows up.
