This edition of Saturday Morning Cartoon features The Herculoids—a Hanna-Barbera short from 1967 about a family of scantily clad heroes (Zandor, Tarra, and little Dorno) who protect the distant planet of Quasar with the help of their pets, which include a dragon that shoots lasers out of his tail, a rock ape, a ten-legged rhino that fires energy rocks from his horn, and… well, I don’t know what the other two things are. Ghosts, maybe?
ANYWAY! In this hilarious episode, things start turning invisible and shit! Including Dorno, whose arm isn’t actually as amputated as it looks. Good thing very special guest star SPACE GHOST drops by to save the day!

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)
