Remember this woman, mentioned in this post yesterday, after TriMet security cameras caught her SMEARING POOP ON A BUS DRIVER’S CHAIR?
She was arrested last night. Apparently after a bunch of tips poured in from dozens of outraged people who know the woman, transit cops figured out who she was (18-year-old Gloria C. Soto of Portland) and showed up for a little chat at her house, TriMet spokeswoman Mary Fetsch confirms this afternoon.
Soto told police a friend was with her last month at the Sunset Transit Center, and that the friend had egged her on after they spotted the poop. Now that stinky, little prank could lead to some big, stinky charges for Soto: felony criminal mischief and a misdemeanor count of interfering with public transportation.
She needs a creative defense. Hmmm.

Who needs a felony? Just smear poop all over her face in a public shaming and call it good.

Probably an (although I know she’s some kind of sociopath fecal war criminal) otherwise nice little girl, I doubt she’s going to be serving hard time. Probably won’t even get a real felony on her record.
She probably WILL get a felony, Anony (original!). She will end up a victim of our wonderful criminal justice system. Unproductive, tax leeching soul who was screwed in jail.
