It’s Two thousand eleven for me.
It all started with 2000, and then 2001 – did anyone in the universe say “twenty oh one,” “twenty oh two,” etc? I’d say “two thousand” is in place until 2013, when it finally gets too weird to keep saying.
2011 will be the first year most of us take notice that “two thousand eleven” is a mouthful, but we’ll push through it that way just the same.
Most people I know talked about “two thousand and nine” and then “twenty ten”, so you’re a year behind on the switch…
For me itยดs the start of the age of Aquarius. Am already feeling it.
The cool people will be saying “Twenty-Leven.” Along with almost everyone, due to the heartbreak of elision.
