The block long Berbati's is a rock in Portland's rock roots. It also has some pretty tasty Greek food, which can make for an all-around complete show going experience. See rock music, drink good drinks, play pool or video game poker, and chow on some good pita and hummus. Perfect.

Affordable, tasty, and a decent atmosphere. I cannot tell you how many times I've played shows at Dante's, and trekked over to Berbati's beforehand to eat a gyro and some fries, chug a beer, and play some pool before sound check.
There is definitely something to be said for really good not-too-expensive food in a bar atmosphere. It is great to be able to play pool grab some drinks and have delicious greek food downtown after a show. The pita and hummus is great for snacking while drinking with friends and the mediterranean is a refreshing and healthy alternative to traditional deep-fried "pub grub". Yeah Berbati's!
This place is laid back, has drinks at decent prices, friendly staff, and most of all a varied crowd-all of the things that make a good hangout.
This show is going to be sick, not adorable. What the fuck is wrong with you? Adorable would be watching them play Carpenters all fucking night. My guess is that the reviewer has never been to a School of Rock show. Come tonight and receive your slap in the face.
